noon to 4 pm on Sundays

UpTown Gallery and Workspace is an artists' collaborative project located in Uptown Waterloo. Participating artists are chosen for their professionalism and diversity of work. You will always find one of the artists in the gallery during opening hours. Artists are willing to talk to you about their art and techniques, and to discuss sales or commissions. Many of the artists will be demonstrating their skills and leading workshops on-site. All UpTown Gallery artists welcome commissions.

In the Gallery you will find original works both small and large, from high realism to abstract, and in price ranges to suit purchasers of art as gifts or as an investment. The range of styles and techniques is eclectic, with representation of skills in the following media:

• oils, watercolours, acrylics, and pastels
• collage
• sculpture
• mosaics created using traditional Italian methods
• professional photography
• stained and fused glass

In addition we offer:

• Portraiture (people or pets) from pencil sketches to oils in realistic to impressionistic styles
• Illustrations of special events/places - fundraisers, music events, ceremonies, weddings
• Art Cards for all occasions

UpTown Gallery accepts Debit, Visa and MasterCard transactions.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER?

Local Artists seeking to join UpTown Gallery should submit, via email, 4 digital photos of their work, an introductory letter, and a current CV. Please email to: info@uptowngallerywaterloo.com . Prospective artists must be able to commit to spending an average of three hours per week in the gallery. In addition, artists should feel at ease in a public setting; and be willing to welcome and talk to the public, while demonstrating their artistic skills.
