UpTown Gallery and Workspace is an artists' collaborative project located in The Shops at Waterloo Town Square by the intersection of Erb Street and King Street West in uptown Waterloo. The Gallery is in the centre of the mall opposite the atrium, see map. We are open 7 days a week.

The Gallery began in 2006 with the mission to bring art to our community and promote local artists. UpTown Gallery artists are chosen for their professionalism and the diversity their work brings to the Gallery. There is always an artist present at the gallery during opening hours, often demonstrating their skills. Artists welcome questions from gallery visitors and are willing to talk about their art and techniques. Some of the artists also teach workshops.

UpTown Gallery has a new show every two months. The Gallery offers original artworks both small and large, from high realism to abstract, and in price ranges to suit purchasers of art as gifts or as an investment. The range of styles and techniques is wide, including ceramics, glass, jewellery, mosaics, original prints, paintings, photography and fibre art. Many of the Uptown Gallery artists are available to create artworks on commission.

In addition, we offer unique Art Cards featuring art by UpTown Gallery Artists that can't be found anywhere else.
