Elaine
Cowan Elaine's career as an artist began with a child's love for drawing and sketching - anything and everything. Following her love of colour, she progressed to painting in oil and acrylic and, eventually, watercolour. She was introduced to watercolour in 1985 by Devona Paquette and concentrated in that medium until recently, when she added acrylic and ink on Yupo paper to her list of mediums. Elaine has studied under many well-known artists, including Zoltan Szabo, Art Cunanan, Margaret Roseman, Beatrice Hogan and Devona Paquette. She is a member of the Waterloo Community Art Centre, Central Ontario Art Association and Uptown Gallery, Waterloo. CONTACT:
