Our current show Elemental has been extended until March 22nd, 2012.
It features new work by Nancy Yule, Jane Bayne, Ardythe Campbell and Mary Guillaume.

Our next show is Collaboration and features artwork by Sophie Drouin, Julie Krahule, Joanne Makulski and Norma McDonald. It opens Thursday, May 24th with the opening reception taking place that evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

 

New Lecture Series at UpTown Gallery
Join us for our new Tea & Talk series of lectures. Learn about the various creative processes that make the artwork in our gallery unique, beautiful and endlessly interesting. Mark your calendar and join us for a cup of tea, as our artists share their stories. The next lecture is Sunday May 27th at 2 pm with
Cathy Pascoe, an artist and art educator. She will be speaking about teaching visual art to children. Read more.

 

Student Show at UpTown Gallery
Artwork by students in Sanela Dizdar's pencil drawing classes will be on display in The BackSpace at UpTown Gallery. The reception takes place on Friday, June 8th, from 7 to 9 pm. All are welcome.

 

New Hours
UpTown Gallery is open from 11 am until 6 pm Monday to Saturday
and now open on Sundays, from noon until 4pm.

 

Local Art Book Now Available
An all new edition of the Talent Next Door art book, designed by Craig Musselman, is available for $25 at UpTown Gallery. The book features 142 local artists, including these artists from UpTown Gallery:  Elaine Cowan, Sanela Dizdar, Diane Eastham, Mary Lou Hiller, Norma McDonald, Cathy Pascoe, Deborah Pryce, Michelle Salter, Laurie Spieker, Nicole Waddick and Jean Weller.

 
 
Come See our New Location
We are still at Waterloo Town Square, but have moved to a bigger and better space around the corner from our previous one. Our beautiful new space opens onto the atrium at the centre of the mall
