The Mural
is on display in the Gallery from July 16th to September 13th.

UpTown Gallery
We are a unique collective of local artists which
began in early 2006 with an invitation to Waterloo artists Podi
Lawrence and Helen Bergström, from First Gulf Development Corporation,
to bring fine art to the public. Since that beginning, First Gulf
has generously sponsored the artists’ co-operative with storefront
space in Uptown Waterloo.
Current UpTown Gallery Coordinators
are Laurie Spieker, Chair and Diane Eastham, Vice-Chair.
UpTown Gallery artists are chosen for their individuality, dedication
and professionalism in the field of fine art. In the gallery you
will find art in a wide variety of styles, from traditional to contemporary,
and in differing artistic media – oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel,
pressed flower art, collage, sculpture, photography, textile and
fiber art, Italian-styled mosaics, and stained and fused glass –
all at different and affordable price points.
